traditional window awning by Canevas Métropolitain
Window awnings can reduce indoor temperatures up to 15°
and eliminate the need for costly air conditioning.
These awnings can even allow you to leave windows open
during rain. The traditional window awning is available
in over 200 durable decorator fabric colors and patterns,
and are water-, mildew-, and fade-resistant. The frame
is constructed of galvanized steel or aluminium and is
retractable using a pull cord system.
Solution-dyed acrylics are the only fabrics we recommend
for our line of awnings. These fabrics are water resistant
and will not saturate like other products. They inhibit
mildew and won't rot as is the case for their cotton or
canvas counterparts.
